The Best Cobbler

Tennesse Cobbler
This is my favorite cobbler recipe. When it's time to pick peaches, I want to make this cobbler and eat it for all meals for a week, and even then, I'm not sick of it. It is to die for!

First, cut up the peaches. I used about 4, combined with the blueberries, it makes 4 cups. Actually, first we picked our own peaches here. They just taste better that way.

They look so yummy, don't they?

We added the blueberries to make 4 cups.

Melt one stick of butter in a dish, pie plate works, or a 9x9 pan.

Measure 1 cup sugar into a large bowl.

Then measure 1 cup Self-rising flour in to the bowl.

Stir in 1 cup milk. We used whole, but low-fat works as well.

Stir until combined. Don't overdo it. It will be lumpy and that's fine.

Pour over the melted butter.

Add the peaches and blueberries, a bit at a time. Spread it out, make it pretty, imagine how beautiful and scrumptous this is going to be soon...

A little patting down doesn't hurt.

Pretty already!

Of course, you should taste the peaches.

Yummy!

Pop it into a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes, give or take. Watch for the edges to brown. They get a bit caramelized and are to die for!

Having  a baby on your back is always helpful!

Out of the oven and so delicious looking. My mouth is watering right now.

Finally done and ready to devour!

Enjoy!
